JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

JESUS! The reason for the season.
Let’s celebrate Him with all reasoning.
He is no longer the baby in the manger.
I have searched through the scriptures,
I am yet to find where He commanded us,
To commemorate His birthday.

Jesus is now Lord!
He has risen from the grave
Death has lost its sting.
He is the King of Kings.
He is the Lord of Lords

One thing I know, by God’s Word
The Same was in the beginning with God
Jesus Christ had always existed.
He came in human form
To fulfil one purpose
To give us Eternal Life!
Have you received Eternal Life?

Jesus needs more from you!
He wants you to receive Him,
As your Lord and Saviour.
He wants you to enter,
Into a relationship with Him.
He wants you to walk with Him in this life.
He wants you to get to know Him.
He wants you to learn of His ways.
He wants you to be,
An ambassador of His Word.
He wants you to live with Him
In heaven one day.

One day, You shall stand before him.
To give an account,
Of how you spent your life on earth.
Let’s not just celebrate Jesus.
Let’s seek to truly know Him
And fellowship with Him.

"Look, I have been standing at the door
And I am constantly knocking. If anyone
Hears me calling him and opens the door,
I will come in and fellowship with him
And he with me” Revelations 3: 20.

If we must celebrate
the birth of Jesus Christ,
Let us do so in reverence
and with thanks giving to him
not in drunkenness; gluttony;
partying; frivolity; revelling.....
God Bless you all!

"WHOEVER ACCEPTS AND TRUSTS THE SON GETS IN ON EVERYTHING LIFE COMPLETE AND FOREVER" JOHN 3:36

When multimillionaire financier J.P. Morgan died, he left a will that contained 10000 words and 37 articles.  During his lifetime, this man made countless financial decisions that affected the economy of the entire world.  Yet in his will he wrote about the ONE transaction he considered more important than all others:  “I commit my soul to the hands of my Saviour, in full confidence that, having redeemed me and washed me with His most precious blood, He will present me faultless before the throne of my heavenly Father."

"I entreat my children to maintain and defend, at all hazard and at any personal sacrifice, the blessed doctrine of complete atonement for sins through the blood of Jesus Christ and through that alone.”

J.P MORGAN KNEW THAT MONEY WILL BY YOU ANYTHING EXCEPT PEACE WITH GOD. MONEY WILL TAKE YOU ANYWHERE EXCEPT TO HEAVEN.

Have you come to the place in your life where you know for sure that if you were to die today you’d go to heaven? If you can say “yes,” then rejoice. But if you are saying “no,” then stop right now, look up and pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus.

I invite You into

my life. I believe

You died for me and

that Your blood pays

for my sins and provides

me with the gift of eternal life.
By faith I now receive that gift
and I acknowledge You as my
Lord and Saviour. Amen.”

UNFORGIVENESS

It’s just a single chain around his
neck, but it incapacitates
his entire body.  That’s how it
works!  Unforgiveness is like
a chain around the neck of your
potential, choking the life out
of your freedom and joy,
making even the sweet
taste of success turn sour
in your mouth.

Maybe you're saying, “I’ll never
forgive them unless they
first admit what they’ve done
and ask for my forgiveness.”
Suppose they never do?
Why should your happiness
depend on their ability to
do what’s right – especially
if they’re not in the habit of
doing it?  You’re giving
them too much power!

When Jesus was on the cross,
He defeated His enemies by
refusing to hold a grudge.
Think about that! He prayed,
“Father, forgive them; for they
know not what they do”
~Luke 23:34. Once He had
said those words – He moved
to a different  realm.
You can, too! ~WFT

Wisdom Is A Principal Thing. Therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7

John Wooden says, “It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.  “Did you hear about the man in the woods who came across a youg lumberjack working feverishly to cut down a tree?  “What are you doing?” he asked.  “I’m sawing down this tree, “he replied.  The old-timer said, “You look exhausted.  How long have you been at it?”  The young lumberjack replied, “Over five hours and I’m beat.” Not yet ready to reveal that he, himself, had spent 30 years as a lumberjack, the older man said, “it looks as if your saw might be a bit dull.”  “It probably is,” said the young man, “I’ve been sawing all day.”  “Then why don’t you take a break and sharpen it? The older man suggested. “The job will go a lot faster if you do.”  The young lumberjack replied, “I don’t like sharpening and anyway I don’t have time right now, I’m too busy sawing!” It’s one thing to work hard – it’s another to work well!  Don’t just saw. Take time to sharpen! Every five years. Knowledge in most major fields doubles. That means if you don’t stay sharp: (1) you’ll be left behind; (2) the opportunities will go to others; (3) you’ll be qualified to live in a world that no longer exists. Have you heard of the old time Pentecostals who are stuck to their old Pentecostal songs and are out of touch with the new generation of this day, yet they wonder why the youths are marching out of the church and the crowd is no longer coming in. Or the accountant  who says: I will not learn computer, I would like to continue in the use of my ledger book! If you want to stay sharp, spend time with God, for nobody is sharper than he is.  Read His word.  Seek His guidance.  Acknowledge Him in all you do.  Switch off your T V and become a reader; draw water from the wells of those who've done what you long to do.  “Above all and before all, do this: get wisdom” Prov 4:7.

NOT BY MIGHT NOR BY POWER

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.  I returned and saw under the sun that –
The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor bread to the wise,
Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favour to men of skill;
But time and chance
happen to them all” Ecclesiastes 9:10-11.

The Wright brothers – two bicycle mechanics – pioneered the first aeroplane.  Yet Dr Samuel P. Langley, -  (founder of the Smithsonian, an astrophysical observatory; astronomer; physicist; inventor of the bolometer,  pioneer of aviation and professor of mathematics a brilliant scientist who had written volumes on the subject), was expected to do it before them.

However, when Langley tried his first plane, it crashed and the press labelled it “a ridiculous fiasco.”  But he ignored their criticism and stayed focused.  Two months later, when he tried again, the plane plunged upside down into a river and the pilot almost downed.  This time the New York Times labelled it “Langley’s Folly” and said he should give up.  He did!  Unable to bounce back, he gave up his life’s dream without ever seeing one of his planes fly successfully in the air.

Nine days later, Orville and Wilbur Wright, who were school drop outs and with no funds, flew their plane, Flyer One, over the sand of Kittyhawk and into the history books, they basically received their inspiration from a toy helicopter their father bought them when they were children and gained the mechanical skills essential for their success by working for years in the printing shop with printing presses, bicycles and other machinery.

I pray for each one of us to be established in our God given calling and purpose on earth. “Not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord of hosts.” – Zachariah 4:6b.

You can receive your own inspiration from God! Commit your life’s passion and goals into the hands of God, follow your God given heart’s desire. Be prayerful about them and have faith in God.
“Commit your works on to the Lord, and your thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3.

…”then you shall say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’  And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your father, as it is this day Deuteronomy 8:17-18.

One more thing reader– Never give up on your God given dreams!  Always be optimistic and persistent.
